Months after violence protests at the Indian High Commission in London,?the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has reportedly identified 15 people who were allegedly involved and will be sending a?Look Out Circular (LOC) against them to the immigrations department. In June, the NIA had released photographs of the suspects involved in the violent protest at the Indian high commission in London by Khalistan supporters.

The case was handed over to the NIA by the Counter Terrorism and Counter Radicalization (CTCR) division of the Ministry of Home Affairs in April. "On 19.03.23 these persons were involved in an attack on the High Commission of India, London. They caused grievous injury and disrespected the Indian National Flag If anyone has any information about them, please Whatsapp/DM @+917290009373," the central agency said in a tweet in June.

Around 2,000 pro-khalistan protesters had descended upon the Indian High Commission for a planned demonstration and hurled objects and chanted slogans amid a heightened security presence and barricades. According to a report by the Indian Express, the NIA has identified 15 suspects involved in the violence and is preparing to communicate with the?UK government to take steps against them.?

On August 1, the NIA raided over 31 locations in Punjab and Haryana in connection with the violence at the Indian High Commission.?The raids led to seizure of digital data containing information related to the suspects, an NIA official said in a statement.?

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently?raised significant concerns regarding Sikh protests in Canada during a conversation with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on the sidelines of the G20 summit in New Delhi, a statement from the Indian government said.

Such protests in Canada were "promoting secessionism and inciting violence against Indian diplomats, damaging diplomatic premises, and threatening the Indian community in Canada and their places of worship," the statement said.?
