Priom Gujjar, who was last seen in ‘Mithai’, and currently is one of the prominent cast of the historical fiction drama ‘Paurashpur’ for Season 2, directed by Sachindra Vats. It features Annu Kapoor, Sherlyn Chopra, Shilpa Shinde, Shaheer Sheikh, Flora Saini and Milind Soman in the lead roles.

Talking about his role he revealed, “I’m playing the role of the most handsome and young soldier Vijay Veer in the kingdom of Paurashpur. My character is in deep love with the queen Vishakha (Ananya Smarth) and I wanted her to become the great queen (Maharani) of the kingdom. On the final day when she was to announce as Maharani, she was murdered and this turns my role negative. As I seek justice for her and do all possible acts in reprisal to harm the king. It’s a very important role and I enjoyed shooting for it. This is something I never did before, a complete revenge story.”

Priom who has been a part of many popular TV shows like ‘Kaleerein’, ‘Ishqbaaaz’, and ‘Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran’, also added that he’s happy acting in OTT projects but is always more interested in TV serials.

He said, “Being an actor I wish to connect with the audience of every platform. But personally. I enjoy acting on TV shows more. Being an actor, I enjoy being on set more hence TV shows run for a long time and an actor gets more opportunities to connect with the audience whereas OTT shows are shot for finite days and the actor needs to wait for another number of days for new work. I enjoy doing OTT but TV is my priority. As I earned recognition from here, I'm loyal to my TV audience.”

Priom has also earlier acted in web series like ‘Gandii Baat 3’, and ‘The Last Show’ among others.
