It was all over in a jiffy. Australia rattled off the 87-run target in a mere 6.5 overs to flatten West Indies in the third ODI in Canberra. Openers Jake Fraser Mc-Gurk and Josh Inglis together blasted 67 runs in the first 27 balls of the innings to lay bare their dominance. With that, the hosts complete a comprehensive 3-0 series sweep. That is some statement from the Aussies after losing the second Test. The action will now head to Hobar, where the first T20I in a three-match series will be played.

Argentine football superstar Lionel Messi says his leg is getting better but he is still not entirely sure if he would be able to play the Inter Miami vs Vissel Kobe club friendly match in Tokyo. Prolific opener Mayank Agarwal has successfully overcome a recent health scare and will return to lead Karnataka against Tamil Nadu in their next Ranji Trophy Group C match in Chennai from Friday, PTI reports. Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) has said that it will host India for a five-match T20I series in July this year. All the matches will be played in Harare and begin within a week after the conclusion of the T20 World Cup. The matches will be played on July 6, 7, 10, 13 and 14 at the Harare Sports Club.

Chasing 248, India started slowly, losing four wickets for 32 runs, before a splendid partnership between Uday Saharan and Sachin Dhas put the Boys in Blue back in charge. India finished the game with eight wickets, but achieved their target, nonetheless, with seven balls to spare.

Gujarat Giants have roped in Michael Klinger as their head coach for the upcoming Women's Premier League 2024 season. Klinger played three T20 Internationals for Australia and held the record for most overall runs scored in the Big Bash League when he retired from the sport in 2019.
