England opener Dawid Malan scored a swashbuckling century against Bangladesh in their ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 clash in Dharamsala on Tuesday. In the process, Malan, who is 36 years and 37 days old as of Tuesday, became the oldest English batter to score a ton in an ODI World Cup match. He overtook former England captain Graham Gooch for the landmark. Gooch was 34 years and 105 days old when he scored his last World Cup century in 1987 against India at the Wankhede Stadium.
