Bittu Bajrangi Threatens To Take Matter In Own Hands If Men Who Set Brother On Fire Not Arrested

Nuh Violence accused Bittu Bajrangi has warned the police that he would have to take matters into his own hands if no action is taken against the men responsible for setting his brother on fire, NDTV reported.

Bajrangi’s brother, Mahesh Panchal, a vegetable vendor in Faridabad, was attacked by four to five men who first confirmed his identity as Bajrangi’s brother and then doused him with petrol, setting him on fire.

Panchal managed to escape and reached his residence; however, he sustained major burns and was taken to the hospital for treatment, according to NDTV.

The incident happened around?1am last night and Panchal is currently undergoing treatment in a private hospital.?

An FIR has been registered, and Bittu Bajrangi has identified one of the accused as a fellow vegetable vendor in the same area as his brother. However, as of now, no arrests have been made

Bittu Bajrangi is a member of the Bajrang Dal and the president of the Goraksha Bajrang Force. He is known to have been an aide of wanted Bajrang Dal leader Monu Manesar, and also came under the scanner for the violence in Nuh earlier this year.

Bittu Bajrangi was accused of fueling communal tension ahead of a Vishwa Hindu Parishad march in Haryana's Nuh by sharing provocative videos. He was arrested on August 4 and later released on bail.
