A 27-year-old woman named Aishwarya Thatikonda, originally from Hyderabad, India, was one of the eight?people who lost their lives, apart from the gunman,?in a shooting incident at a crowded mall in Dallas, Texas in the United States of America. According to the reports, Aishwarya, who had completed her civil engineering at a college in Hyderabad, went to the US?for higher education. She was working as a project engineer in Texas for more than two years.

According to a report by The Telegraph, a friend of Aishwarya's father, who is a district judge in Ranga Reddy district court, Aishwarya had spoken to her family members before the incident. However, after the shooting, when her family tried to contact her, there was no response. The family received information about Aishwarya's death on Sunday. They were informed that efforts were being made to send her body back to India by Wednesday.

The shooting took place on Saturday at the Allen Premium Outlets in Dallas when a 33-year-old gunman opened fire at shoppers in the outdoor mall. Aishwarya was reportedly shopping with a friend when they were shot. The gunman was shot dead by a police officer at the scene.

The incident has left Aishwarya's family in a state of shock. Her father has requested the Indian government to help bring his daughter's body back to India as soon as possible. Meanwhile, the US authorities are investigating the incident to determine the motive behind the shooting.

The shooting at the Dallas-area mall left eight people dead and seven wounded, three critically. The shooting began when a gunman stepped out of a vehicle outside the mall and immediately started shooting at people on the sidewalk. More than three dozen shots could be heard as the vehicle recording the video drove off. Witnesses reported seeing children among the victims, and some said they also saw what appeared to be a police officer and a mall security guard unconscious on the ground.
