Recently, news of Ozzy Osbourne’s death had gone viral on social media. Several reports claimed that the English singer is no more. Reacting to these hoaxes and fake news, Ozzy Osbourne has clarified that he is alive and is not dead.

In the latest episode of 'The Osbournes' podcast, Ozzy revealed how he found the viral video. He mentioned how he was shocked to see himself being featured in a video that talked about celebrities who have passed away. The singer said, “I put it on and I died! The thing on YouTube, which goes, ‘Celebrities Who Have Died Today,’ and there’s a picture of me.” The singer referred to Monty Python and the Holy Grail and said, “I’m not dead. I’m not really dead… just a little flesh wound.”

The singer how he disapproves of reports like this that spread misinformation. He added, “Ozzy added, “I’m not dead. I’m not going any-f******-where and I’m going to go do some more gigs before I’m finished anyway.” Ozzy’s son, Jack, saw a silver lining in this fiasco. He mentioned how whenever news like this about Ozzy’s death pops up on the internet, people talk about how the singer is alive because they have listened to him on the podcast.

The singer has been battling with health issues for long. He had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2020. He has also undergone multiple surgeries.

Ozzy Osbourne was the founding member of the heavy metal band, Black Sabbath. He has sold over a million albums and has won numerous accolades. His name also features on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles.
