Well I moved to India for work and that is what brought me back here so I guess work will always be the connection and love between India and me. I feel like India has definitely come a very long way in every aspect. May that be in the entertainment industry or the top richest and smartest people in the world we have established our names in every field and we have a very long way to go. We are definitely on the right path.

I genuinely count being an Indian as one of my biggest blessings. The culture, the traditions, the people and their love for each other is what makes us ‘Us’. Saluting the indomitable spirit of those who laid down their lives for our independence. Let us never forget the profound sacrifices that secured our freedom's triumph. May we forever hold this precious liberty close to our hearts.?Happy Independence Day!

We are blessed to have the right to speak and to be heard. Several brave souls fought for this right. There’s no other nation like us! The amount of empathy and love we share as a nation is truly commendable. My love for my nation is boundless! My love for my people is endless! All I desire for my country is happiness! Happy Independence Day.

Since Bigg Boss is over now, it is a sigh of relief for me. So I plan to celebrate Independence Day with friends and family in solace and having that patriotic feeling within me. I've travelled across the globe but according to me the most unique thing about India is the variety of cultures that we have right from languages, clothing and cuisines and yet we are all so united as a country and stand together as one.

Independence Day means freedom of mind, body, and soul from all negative thoughts and deeds. It means equality to all where no one is superior or inferior to each other, there's freedom of rights and equal love and respect for all. I have seen Karma multiple times and each time it provoked a feeling of patriotism in me. I respect, love and have heartfelt gratitude for all freedom fighters as they sacrificed their precious lives for our freedom, but I am most inspired by martyr Bhagat Singh Ji, as I find his approach very balanced. He knew when to show aggression but without causing any damage to human life.

Independence Day is a significant milestone for our country, as we gained independence just 76 years ago. Compared to other developed nations, we achieved freedom only in 1947. This day holds great importance for me as it reminds me of the freedom fighters who endured jail, and brutality, and sacrificed their lives so that we could live in a free nation. It's a moment of homage and gratitude to them all. They sacrificed their lives for us. The patriotic film ‘Gandhi’ vividly and truthfully portrayed that period. Personally, I had the opportunity to play Jawaharlal Nehru in Rajkumar Santoshi’s film ‘Gandhi Godse Ek Yudh’. Studying about him fascinated me. A true visionary, he knew how to handle the British, and he relinquished his promising career for the country. Even after independence, he contributed to the country by establishing educational institutes, hospitals, factories, dams, and other infrastructure facilities. He followed Mahatma Gandhi’s principles, and in the most non-violent manner led India to freedom. We owe a great deal to Nehru’s vision.

Honestly speaking, this 76th year of independence is very refreshing for me. If you see, everyone has new energy after Covid, everyone is talking about new growth, business, revolution and all. So I feel now we got freedom from the Britishers. I want to see Manoj Kumar’s desh bhakti film. My favourite freedom fighter is Shaheed Bhagat Singh because whatever he did is incredible, nobody can do what he did at such an early age. I am sure all freedom fighters will be happy to see the new Bharat.

Independence Day holds deep significance. Commemorating India’s freedom from British rule in 1947, the day honours the sacrifices and struggles of freedom fighters. 'Lagaan' stands out as a cherished patriotic film, portraying villagers using cricket to defy British tyranny. Another film is ‘Rang De Basanti’, highlighting youthful activism. As for freedom fighters, Subhas Chandra Bose’s unwavering patriotism and his role in India’s struggle for freedom have earned him admiration. His bold approach and contributions continue to inspire generations striving for justice and liberty.

Independence Day is a reminder of a nation’s journey from oppression to liberation, a testament to the resilience and sacrifice that paved the path to freedom. As we raise our flags on this day, we honour the struggles of countless freedom fighters who fought valiantly for a sovereign India. Cinematic narratives like ‘Lagaan’ and ‘Rang De Basanti’ are more than just movies, they are reflections of the spirit that courses through the veins of a nation, showcasing the unwavering courage and unity that define us. And among the pantheon of freedom fighters, Subhas Chandra Bose's legacy burns bright. His resolute patriotism and unyielding dedication serve to guide us to remember that the pursuit of liberty requires audacity and unwavering determination.

Certainly! Independence Day holds great significance as it commemorates the day when a nation gains freedom from colonial rule, marking the beginning of self-governance and sovereignty. A patriotic film that resonates with me is 'Lagaan',?a tale of courage and unity during India's struggle for independence! And one more I loved watching 'Shershaah'.?My favourite freedom fighter is Bhagat Singh, known for his bravery and dedication to the cause of Indian independence.
