On Sunday night PT, The Beverly Hilton Hotel witnessed yet another splendid night of the 81st edition of the?Golden Globes. The International Ballroom, where the awards took place,?was filled with?exciting?chatter, clinking glasses and the hustle-bustle of the event. While the event was telecast live, and cameras follows celebrities everywhere, there were certain moments which had to be experienced only if you were physically present there.

Here’s a few?such observations.

Star-Studded Traffic Jam:?It's a fact that the Globes are a star-studded event, telecast?live on TV. When stars leave their seats in front of the cameras,?security stops them from going back to their designated spot?until the commercial break commences. Even big names like Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert Downey Jr., Christopher Nolan,?Dua Lipa, Billie Eilish, and Jared Leto had to patiently wait during the telecast to get back to their seats.

Unnecessary Bleeping:?Cillian Murphy, who won an award for proving his acting prowess with 'Oppenheimer,'?used an Irish word "feckin'" in his winning speech, which left audiences with a task to cross-check the word in the dictionary.?In the room, it was evident that he did not use the abusive?'F-word,'?but CBS went ahead and censored it anyway.?

Unexpected Interactions:?Before the ceremony, Joaquin Phoenix and CEO of Mattel, Ynon Kreiz were seen having?a long conversation. As the show almost reached its end, Florence Pugh and Hunter Schafer were engaged in lively talks with some other women at the bar, which was located?at the end of the ballroom. At the same time, there was a line outside of the ladies' room, only to take selfies with?Meryl Streep,?and she happily catered to all.?

Set The Stage On Fire:?When Keri Russell and Ray Romano were called on stage to present an award, attendees at the back?of the room had their attention somewhere else. A?fire department official in uniform made his way past the tables on the right?side of the room. Some viewers?at home caught a?glimpse of the officer, who briefly appeared behind?the presenters while they were opening the envelope to announce the winner.

The Force Was With Him:?A much-loved actor from the 'Star Wars'?world, Mark Hamill, was brought in as a surprise presenter. Just moments after he praised the one good thing about the Globes:?an open bar,?there were sounds of breaking glass echoing?clearly throughout the ballroom.
