After the success of 'Oppenheimer,' lead actor Cillian Murphy has been feeling ecstatic. When doing such heavy, serious roles, he expressed that he needs some lightness. Now, during an exclusive chat with The Los Angeles Times, he revealed that on the sets of this film, he found that lightness and humour in co-star Emily Blunt.?

“She’s one of the funniest people, and I have a rule that I can’t work unless there’s a lightness around the set,” Murphy, 47, said?of Blunt, 40. She played his on-screen wife, Kitty, in the film.

"There has to be some levity,” Murphy detailed on how he likes the set to be. “A lot of the films I do are quite heavy and go to some dark, challenging places, and you have to be relaxed to do that. So I don’t walk around in a state of f******?angst. I need to feel at ease."

He continued, "I can’t be in that dark place all the time. I don’t have the stamina for it.”

This was particularly important while filming the Christopher Nolan-directorial, where Murphy played the role of American scientist J. Robert Oppenheimer and his?development of the atomic bomb.?
