Museum as an archive of human histories and emotions structurally represent belonging to a determined time or space. What about the abandoned goods of human history that are not considered worthy enough to be restored and displayed??

Addressing this silencing Mithu Sen's Museum of Unbelonging talks about the politics of impermanence. Here, the suppressed, rejected and the left outs become visible. The personal objects that otherwise could have been marked as 'abandoned' take centrestage at Sen's Museum. In her shows across Germany (2018), Switzerland (2016), USA (2015) and India (2011) in an innovative way, she ?brings out the silenced and marginalised histories of objects.?
