The meeting saw the introduction of a proposal to establish a state-level Inland Waterways Authority in Uttar Pradesh, underlining the government's commitment to regional development.

Fourteen proposals were on the agenda, with the establishment of a state-level Inland Waterways Authority taking precedence. Cabinet Minister Nand Gopal Nandi expressed the historical significance, stating that the day would be inscribed in golden letters in the history of the country and the state.

Excitingly, the construction of the ground floor of the three-storey Ram Mandir in Ayodhya is set for completion by December-end, with the consecration ceremony scheduled for January 22, 2024, as revealed by Temple Construction Committee Chairperson Nripendra Mishra.
